My audience is made up of people who are against homeschooling. Homeschooling Many people have formed their own opinions about homeschooling; some people are for it while others are against it. From my personal experience, it's the best thing that could have happened to me. The skills I have acquired have not only helped me as a student, but also as a member of society. After talking to other homeschoolers, they feel the same way I do. In my personal opinion, homeschooling is very beneficial for any child. The best advantage a homeschooled child receives is one-on-one instruction. The child receives extra help in subjects he has difficulty with. The parent can also choose a special program to help him with that difficult subject. For example, if your child has difficulty with math, there is a program that makes math visible and kinetic. Subjects in which the child excels in the parent can make homework more challenging. During a normal school day there is a lot of busy work, however, with homeschooling you can eliminate this unnecessary paperwork, so there is more time to spend on important subjects. The best thing about one-on-one education is that if a child doesn't understand something, the parent can go over it until the child understands it completely. This type of learning goes at the child's pace. For example, if the child does not do well on a science test, the parent can take the time to review the material and re-explain it so the child can finally understand it. The parent has the ability to change the child's schedule. When I was homeschooled, I was supposed to study government a year later, but my mother moved the topic so I could study it during elections to see how the whole system worked. Any other school does not have the flexibility to do this. The parent can also choose which different things the child will study and the length of time the child will spend on that particular subject. This way the lesson is fun and brings learning to a personal level by learning about something a person is interested in. However, most people think that the child does not receive a complete education, so each state has laws to prevent this from happening..
