INTRODUCTIONA group of people working together to achieve a common goal is known as an organization. They use resources from the environment as inputs and process them to produce outputs. The conversion of inputs into outputs is known as the production function. Products are consumed from the external environment in exchange for the provision of inputs. Information system is a computerized system that helps to minimize the workload of employees and facilitates their work while providing accurate results. There are immediate changes in information technology in everyday life. Therefore businesses should adapt to these changes. The information system and business organizations are interconnected with each other. Information systems are created by managers to obtain benefits in businesses. The interaction between information technology and organization is very complicated and is influenced by many mediating factors such as organizational structure, culture, politics, management decisions, etc. Management information system (MIS) is a structure or process that provides the data needed to oversee the success of organizations. Management information systems are considered a subset of the general internal control methodology in a company, which covers the provision of people, documents, innovations and methods used by administrative accountants to deal with business matters, for example, the cost of an item, business administration or strategy. BACKGROUND Nations Trust Bank was established in July 1999 by acquiring the Colombo branch of Overseas Trust Bank Ltd. Today it is one of the fastest growing banks in Sri Lanka. They have sixty branches, twenty-one leasing centers, seven personal banking centers, and ba......half of the card......issue new cards.Disadvantage• Smart cards actually get corrupted. Scratches from keys or several questions in the pocket easily damage the attractive stripe, making the card incomprehensible.• Insecure, if a smart card is stolen, a person's bank account can be easily hacked.ConclusionAfter a discussion with the bank manager We were told that the solutions provided will not give an immediate impact on transactions. But according to the director's hypotheses we came to the conclusion that the solutions provided were better suited to their problems. The director thought that the use of smart cards would be a very effective solution as many people find them easier to use and the constant staff training would be effective for the employees as their systems are updated often. the manager also praised the simple solution they have to follow.
