I could feel my waist shrinking as Maggie wore my corset and rambled about how beautiful it would make me look. As he gave the final tug I felt like my ribs would break if I dared try to breathe. I closed my eyes, forcing small gasps as I forced my body to adjust to the corset. “Maggie, loosen it up a little, I'm afraid I'm going to pass out from choking,” she whispered to my ditzy waitress. She grumbled, but then relented and loosened the corset so I could breathe normally before going to get my dress. "I always said you looked beautiful in white, princess," Maggie smiled at me as she pulled out my prom dress. approval as he helped me put on the pearl dress. I examined it carefully knowing that I would be on display for all to inspect. I ran my hand over the beautiful embroidery done on the dress in a soft silver; swirled starting from the hem with a tight ribbon around my ribs to show off my breasts. I had to blush since Maggie butted in and was telling me that I was old enough to get married, and that men only look for beautiful or rich people, and since we weren't quite rich I had to show off my beauty. My nerves began to fray as I thought of all that would come my way tonight to find a rich and suitable husband to help my father and our kingdom grow. “Chloe, what jewelry do you want me to give you?” Maggie asked as she pulled out my jewelry case. “I want to wear my mother's jewelry, nothing else.” I could tell by Maggie's attitude that she was about to refuse, but she decided again and brought me my mother's jewelry. I ran my fingers over my mother's beautiful long gold chain from which dangled a tiny pearl. I twisted the pearl thinking of...a piece of paper...to protect myself" I whispered before my capture grabbed my arm. "What's your name?" I asked. "Drake your highness and we leave at once" I replied as he began to drag me towards the doors. “Nooo!” I screamed as I tried to free myself from his grip on my arm. “Father, please! Please!" I screamed as Drake dragged me out. I could hear the crack of lightning as the cold rain hit my face mixing with my tears. Drake pushed me into his carriage as he entered with me. I sat there frozen as I tried to give a sense to everything. At that moment I didn't care what the prince or his men thought of me, I let my tears flow freely feeling my heart break as the carriage hurtled forward man I didn't know being taken away by everything I knew and loved, I sat staring at my home disappearing before my eyes as it grew further and further out of reach.
