Hip hop is a lifestyle with its own language, clothing, music and way of thinking that constantly changes. Each of the four elements also has a language, clothing, music and way of thinking, but they are much closer to each other than to any culture. Nowadays, as break dancing and graffiti have become mostly underground, the words "rap" and "hip hop" have been used. It should be noted that all four elements of hip hop culture still exist. They simply evolved to new levels. Hip hop was first used by Africa Bambatta (godfather of hip-hop culture, father of the Electric Funk sound, founder of the Universal Zulu Nation, visionary, historian and recording master) back in the early 1980s to describe the culture it incorporates: Break dancing, Dj'ing (cutting and scratching), Emceeing (rapping). Before then the word hip hop referred to a phrase said by the MC into the microphone. There were different types of rap. Gangsta rap and the West Coast, This rap reflects the violent lifestyles and backgrounds of inner-city black American youth. Born in 1980, it started to transform into gangsta rap which resulted in more violence. New hip hop: The second wave of hip hop originated in 1983-1984 with early records such as run d-mic and LL Cool J. (Old school). He provided an aggressive and self-assertive style. The artist projected a tough and cool street kid attitude. Hip hop was formed in the 1970s when block parties became increasingly popular in New York, among young African Americans living in the Bronx. Block parties included DJs playing popular music genres, such as funk and sound music. It features DJ Kool Herc, considered the father of hip hop.
