Topic > America needs high school incentive programs that help…

In individuals' lives, everyone imagines their dream job or the job that will earn them the most money. Most of these jobs have to make it, so you need a higher education like college to be able to make it in the field as well. College is not cheap at all, depending on the college you choose, yes it may cost less money but it is still thousands of dollars when you get your degree. Many people who want to go to college can't afford it, so they can't land their dream job. To make college accessible to those who are truly deserving, it is necessary to offer incentive programs such as offering financial stipends that can be earned through academic success in high school. Anyone who goes to college after high school will have a mountain of debt. caused by student loans for the rest of the student's life. Colleges and universities are almost inaccessible to people who want to achieve their dream job due to the high prices of college. In an article titled “The College Affordability Challenge: The University of Alaska is a Bargain in Shaping the Future” by Ashok K. Roy, it is stated that “The average student debt is approximately $26,600. Approximately 864 billions of dollars are outstanding in federal student loan debt, while the remaining $150 billion is in private student loan debt.” People don't have twenty-seven thousand dollars on hand just to pay for college out of pocket Most people can't even eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, let alone spend money on college. Many students struggle with debt due to unemployment or underemployment of Education Policy estimates that in 2012-2013 the average tuition and fees at public four-year universities was $8... middle of paper... at Della Ricerca Scientifica3.1 (2012): 171-175.
