Throughout the 21st century, technology has impacted many occupations you don't even know about. One of them is education. In the 20th century, students only have textbooks, notebooks and pens. Instead, students now use eBooks, interactive online textbooks, and online notebooks. Teachers can use projectors, computers, iPads and more! Thanks to this new technology, high school teachers are able to teach their students in a new and positive way that students are truly excited to learn. Technological developments have impacted high school teachers and people's lives. Did you know that between the years 1997 and 2007 computers were introduced into schools? Teachers having computers in the classroom not only benefits students, but teachers as well. Teachers can show students tutorials, charts, or even find lesson plans to help the teacher teach. Additionally, computers in schools are very engaging for students. When a child sees a computer, he wants to get closer and play. But if teachers show students that you can learn from a computer, students will have computers for everything. Finally, having a computer in the classroom helps you understand real-world applications. Some examples include Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel. When students get jobs when they are older, they will already know how to use these applications to show a presentation, or make a resume and even graphs!
