Recently in my class we discussed different civilizations and how women were treated during that time. While reading the books, I was able to read things and connect them to the notes I had recently taken. Something in particular that I found related was in chapter four of the book. This chapter talked about the role of women in Athens, which was motherhood. We had just talked about this in class, and how men could divorce women without public humiliation, if the wife was unable to conceive a child.
