AppendixINTRODUCTIONThe phenomenon of disposed of electronic or electrical waste has generated attention and concern around the world as it is a global problem that is becoming bigger and bigger day by day. This concern is justified by the effects of environmental pollution caused by electronic waste. It is estimated that 50 million tons of e-waste are produced globally every year, and the number is expected to increase further. America is the world's largest producer, followed closely by China. E-waste, e-waste, e-scrap, or waste electrical and electronic equipment are different names for the same thing. Electronic waste is defined as an electronic device that is close to its useful life or has reached the end of its useful life. E-waste is becoming a growing problem around the world. The main source of e-waste is the information technology (IT) industries and how these industries impact the environment based on the amount of resources these industries use in manufacturing the products, the amount of energy consumed by these equipment, the speed of production as well as the hazardous chemicals used to produce these electronic devices and the pollution caused overall. An example is a computer circuit that contains many chemical elements such as gold, copper, cadmium and many others. Air pollution results from the indiscriminate burning of these waste materials leading to the release of hazardous chemicals in their gaseous forms and ash into the atmosphere. ......half of paper......ns of electronic devices even after previous versions still work?10.
