There are many different nations where citizens have their own language and way of life, but the United States of America is unique in its diversity of citizens. And for this reason America is called “melting pot” because it has a variety of citizens of different ethnicities and each has their own culture and language, and all these people live in one united nation. Coca-Cola created an advertisement that opens with the first paragraph of the song “America the Beautiful” sung in English. This part of the song is sung in seven different languages during the commercial and features a variety of people representing the citizens of America. Coca-Cola advertising shows the diversity of Americans who have different ethnicities, cultures, and religions and how everyone is connected and unified through Coca-Cola to exemplify the beauty of America. The first paragraph of the song “America the Beautiful” is used to show that people in America are connected even though they may come from different backgrounds. The first part of the song itself has an important meaning for people living in America because it is something that most Americans learn at an early age in elementary school. Everyone is able to connect with the song because everyone knows the words to at least part of the song. Having such a special song sung in seven different languages proves that America is truly a "melting pot", a united but mixed and diverse country. The lyrics and harmony say that Americans can work together regardless of existing differences. The part of the song "America the Beautiful" used in the ad has a deeper meaning behind it: O be......center of the card......in conclusion this ad uses different things: a song, people doing the same thing, enlightenment, emotional connection, and scenarios to demonstrate how truly diverse America has become and why it's a good thing to be so diverse. Furthermore, this ad not only managed to say why America is beautiful, but it illustrated to everyone why it is beautiful, which is no easy task. Coca-Cola has managed to convey the message of how it can help unite cultures and people by using a connection that everyone can have with their product. However, by projecting different individuals into a variety of landscapes, advertising was able to suggest that what makes America beautiful is its diversity of people and landscapes. YouTube.
