Nowadays, there are many energy sources to generate sustainable energy, but Kurdistan does not have that level of progress to utilize these sources. Every country needs to create something new to generate energy, and Kurdistan also needs to use these alternative energy sources to generate sustainable energy. There are many types of alternative energy sources and if we take examples of these sources we could say that they are solar energy, geothermal energy and the use of biomass. Although many people believe that Kurdistan does not need to exploit alternative energy, this essay argues that alternative energy should be exploited in Kurdistan. Many people believe that exploiting alternative energy sources is not a good idea for Kurdistan because there are enough energy sources to generate energy. At first glance, using alternative energy sources requires a perfect cost from the government, so this may be difficult for a partially governmental government like Kurdistan. As everyone knows, Kurdistan is a small government that has separated from the official government of Iraq and all budgets for Kurdistan will come from the official government of Iraq, so if the official government of Iraq does not agree with the budget allocation for using alternative energy sources in Kurdistan, Kurdistan will not receive the perfect budget for using these alternative energy sources. Another reason is that Kurdistan is one of the richest areas in the Middle East when it comes to large amounts of oil and gas, so there is no need to use alternative energy sources if there is already a reliable source to generate energy. People think that this is an acceptable reason to disagree with the exploitation of alternative energy sources in Kurdistan. Furthermore, alt... half of the document... an important reason to exploit alternative energy sources in Kurdistan is that there will be more job opportunities for young people who want to work, and there will be a new budget for the country when they use these alternative energy sources saving a lot of extra energy. These were some reasons to exploit alternative energy sources in Kurdistan. To conclude, this essay argues that alternative energy sources should be exploited in Kurdistan and highlights three important reasons for exploiting and not exploiting alternative energy sources in Kurdistan. We could say that there are more reasons to exploit these sources than not to exploit them in Kurdistan. Harnessing alternative energy has some important benefits for Kurdistan. In my opinion alternative energy sources should be exploited in Kurdistan because they have many advantages.
