There are natural history museums located all over the world and in some of the most famous cities. Some of these cities include New York City, Washington DC, Los Angeles, and London. Natural history museums have many different exhibits that serve various purposes (Funding, n.d.). The collections on display are used to educate and inspire visitors. The information displayed is not only used to educate the public, but is used by the vast majority of people for research. Many other fields of work are able to use these collections to help with research findings and knowledge expansion.
