As a child, Hitler lived in poverty with his family, but at the age of 16 he dropped out of school to follow his dream of becoming an artist. “The young Hitler was surrounded by an increasingly harsh rhetoric of political confrontation that was common in the Austrian empire of the Habsburg dynasty” (Adolf). Hitler dedicated himself greatly to his country by volunteering in the First World War. Hurt by the victory of the United United in the war, Adolf Hitler became determined to play a key role in the restoration of Germany (Adolf Hitler originally created the Nazi Party in 1920, but it ultimately failed and was sent to prison. After his release, Adolf was able to rejuvenate the Nazi party and defeat potential rivals for leadership (Adolf). Once he gained complete power over Germany, he restricted the rights of many Jews and sent them to concentration camps. Even though Hitler was involved in the deaths of over 50 million people around the world, successfully brought the unemployment rate in Germany down to its lowest level ever.
