Introduction Leadership is a simple word, easy to say but actually difficult to apply. The fact, as we can always see, there are still problems of leadership, both military, governmental and civilian. Those who are unable to distinguish between commander and leader will encounter many problems in their leadership. The complexity challenges they face right now are higher than in the old days, and future challenges will become more complex. Ultimately, if a leader cannot exercise their leadership in the right way, it will have a negative effect on the members, the culture, and the organization. This article will attempt to illustrate my perspective on personal leadership challenges in the future assignment. First, I'll start with the Ah-Ha moment based on my experience during my military service. Secondly, I will describe key aspects of the leadership context in my next appointment. Third, I will describe the key leadership requirements. Fourth, I will identify my strengths and weaknesses and how to address the gaps for the next appointment. Finally, I will summarize this paper with the conclusion. Ah-Ha Moment The only significant Ah-Ha moment that came to mind was my experience in different units and assignments in the Army. When I try to connect the leadership materials of the LIC modules to my past experience, the Ah-Ha moment can answer the question of why a Special Forces unit led by an unqualified and incompetent commander can still function at its best. At that moment, the commander lacks skills and expertise; he demonstrated this in his daily activities especially when he handled problems. It seems that when he encountered challenges in the unit, his decision-making lacked vision and he applied... middle of the paper... feedback will help me see the improvement I have made, including positive or negative actions I got it.ConclusionAs a military officer, we must continuously improve our leadership in line with the development of knowledge and technology so that it is effective. With this reflection on leadership I have become aware of my weaknesses and am better prepared to improve my leadership skills so that I can feel confident going into my leadership tour.
