When she was little she could only dream of becoming a veterinarian. Now he is realizing his dreams as a veterinary technician. “Choose a job you love and you'll never work a day in your life” (Henry Hernandez). Being a veterinary technician is actually a lot of fun as long as you have a passionate love for animals. One of the reasons to become a veterinary technician is because they meet new animals and take care of them too. This career is very important because the welfare of animals is just as important as the welfare of humans (Guide to Veterinary Technology). just in a different form Loving, respecting and comforting animals is only a small part of a veterinary technician's career. Attention to detail, strength, and education are also very important qualities that a veterinary technician must have. Successful veterinary technicians are passionate about the animals they see every day and are able to control their emotions” (Career Cruising). Caring for the animals is very important so that they do not feel threatened by the veterinary technician and claw or bite them or growl at them. Veterinary technicians must demonstrate their love for animals to patients and their owners. many animals will feel the emotions that people give off and the animal can react to that emotion for better or worse. The job of a veterinary technician is to be calm and show no emotion to the patient and family so that the family does not have emotional distress towards the clinic. The tasks and responsibilities that a veterinary technician must be able to work on any day at any time just like a paramedic. A veterinary technician also has to keep animals happy during treatment in the clinic. “Every day that I am in the operating room I will be… middle of paper… strong and educated are very important qualities of a veterinary technician. Veterinary Technicians are important to the care of animals. Animals can be very nervous and uncooperative when they try to do something they don't like.
