Topic > The Importance of Formal Education - 831

Naivety is ignorance due to lack of formal education. It would seem that the term naivety also applies to those who have been educated, even if insufficiently. Most of the human world is naive and abandoned, which forces it to remain so, both through the inability to access a form of formal education and the inability of the teachers who attempt to teach it to them. It would seem that lack of education is one of the world's biggest problems. The lack of education worldwide is mainly due to the low availability of formal education and its limited depth. In many underdeveloped countries, no formal education or training is available. Since the option of public schooling often does not exist in these countries, the only possible solution (note: possible, implausible) is homeschooling, a much more expensive option and usually beyond the means of most families in these countries. Even in places where public school options exist, many children are unable to take advantage of them because they must work for their families. This occurs with frightening frequency in developing countries that have the option of free public education, effectively eliminating the ability to access the education that would otherwise be available. Furthermore, due to financial problems in developing countries, teachers often have to work for little or no pay and their training is lacking. This hinders the teacher's ability to teach their subject well, which causes students to learn incorrect or incomplete information. This lack of education will result in an unquantifiable loss for all humanity. The global shortage of quality education will have devastating results, slowing the improvement of the human race. Without an education… middle of paper… and give them an education. This way they will be able to return to their home countries and educate their fellow citizens. Finally, the technology that makes humans more efficient in blue-collar jobs should be made cheaper. This will allow people to grow easily with the use of modern technology and create a higher return, lowering prices. In this way the plague can be removed from the earth and finally, in truth, the world will be equal, with no one above the other, unless their natural abilities place it. Education is a necessity. It should be available and accessible to the world without costing the world more than it does now. To say that it doesn't hurt you if others are uneducated is to show your ignorance and a clear lack of logic. In many ways, by leaving people uneducated, the world is cutting off its nose to spite its face.
