Throughout their existence all people experience and respond to the roots and traditions of their culture, spirituality and the social, political and economic conditions in which they find themselves1. Moving from one organization to another is also a type of response. Employee retention is a process where employees are encouraged to stay with the organization for the maximum period of time. Human resource retention is beneficial to both the organization and the individual. The materialistic era and utility theory are responsible for the change in jobs. Companies are facing problems in employee retention. Hiring caliber people for the organization is the perpetual necessity of organizations but retention is also equally important, rather more important than hiring. There is no shortage of opportunities for talent and potential, there are many organizations looking for employees from the same industry who are not satisfied with the existing workplace. The high employee turnover rate is a warning to management that something is wrong with the organization's policies. Socially and ethically it is justified for organizations to address the reasons for employee transitions and seek to retain their employees for various reasons. Employees leave their jobs for professional development or some personal problems and sometimes even for the sake of change. In every situation the reasons must be noticed, attended to and the organization must take social and ethical responsibility to retain employees. Over time it is likely to adapt to the working conditions of the organization, people will feel comfortable in the area and will get used to the setting of this...... middle of paper...... philosophy of life and have evolved your art of living. All this you must apply to the present situation and from it will arise a new creation and not a mere repetition, or a creation which the soul of your people will own for itself and proudly offer to the world as a tribute to the well-being of man”3.References: 1.
