Many adolescent girls experience the harmful psychological effects of abortion. Although many people are against abortion, it is still done. Adolescents' attitudes and behavior toward themselves change dramatically once they have an abortion. Abortion has several side effects that a teen may or may not know how to deal with. These girls experience a sense of withdrawal, oppression and self-destruction. Over the past two years, many legislators and statesmen have opposed abortion. Many states have established requirements for clinics and other facilities that are out of reach for continuity of services. The need for abortion in America remains an option for many teenagers. Counseling services should be provided in an attempt to reduce the psychological effects of this procedure. Since 2013, several surgical abortion clinics have closed. Not all are permanent. Among those that remain open, some have stopped the abortion procedure but continue to sell abortion-inducing drugs. She is a biased character who would have been if she had been allowed to be born. She was never given a chance at life because she was aborted at just 16 weeks in the womb. She was forced to have an abortion by her 13-year-old mother's grandmother. The young mother was not given the opportunity to express her opinion on the outcome of the pregnancy. The decision that the young girl's mother chose for her affected her life in many different ways. Because of the particular difficulties of teenage pregnancy and abortion, adolescent girls are at very high risk of developing post-abortion problems (Klammer). There are many side effects of abortion that play a role in your future. For those teenagers who have had an abortion, it is a consequence that is always in their subconscious and never goes away.
