Now we know that Gilgamesh may never have undertaken the journeys and created the relationships he needed to become a better king. But what if there was something else? If the Gods had gone to Gilgamesh on their own, they might have had the ability to change parts of him, but not in the same way that someone like Enkidu was able to.
