The impact of social media on academic lifeIn this report we will discuss a whole range of topics on how social media has had a huge impact on academic skills. The reason why we choose it as a group is because we all know how much social media and also social networking sites have had a huge impact on us and also on many people not only young but also adults, so this research/project fits indeed in our democratic era and in our daily lifestyle. We split the research and presentation evenly so the three of us knew one had too much to do or too little to do. As a trio I think we worked well as a team even though we had only known each other for a couple of weeks before the group research was published. No matter what they do, everyone socializes with different people, whether on the phone, computer, at work, at school, college and even universities. What we really want to know is why it has a huge impact on people's academic lives as people mostly use social media sites to communicate with family and friends. The issues that will be discussed in this report will be: • What is social media • History of expansion of social media • Different types of social media • Advantages of social media in academic life • Disadvantages of social media in academic life • Our point of view on social media as a whole and conclusionsWhat is social media?Social media interacts with people who use the Internet. Having various social channels, websites that allow you to communicate on the blog, upload photos and videos are all different types of social media. This allows you to share information with each other. Social media has increased over the years, every two months and new social media……medium of paper……attending our meetings or lessons we will let the teacher know and we will deal with the matter too. This the risk assessment shows what we have planned for any risks that may accumulate during the course of our project. We also showed what and how we would handle them as a team. We only noted a few of the risks above, and that's what we included in our risk assessment. References Dave Kerpen (June 7, 2011).
