As we saw in the movie Brubaker, a corrupt bureaucratic system presented many challenges. In the film “we saw rampant abuse and corruption that included sexual assault and torture of prisoners, worms in prisoners' food, prisoners being charged for better food or even something as simple as a haircut, insurance fraud by doctors who did not treat patients, the original doctor who charges for treatment of prisoners (Tran). The consequence we noticed was the replacement of the director with prison reform. We also noticed the consequences that prisoners were treated like human beings and with this treatment they became better human beings living inside the prison
