A big problem in the world today is bullying, which can happen at school, at the mall, on a playground, or at home. It can take place via a computer or mobile phone, in large or small groups. It is a fact that over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying every year. “How can we stop bullying?” "How can people understand that it's not right?" People need to realize that it really affects the victims. Bullying can be about anything, there are different types of bullying: physical bullying, emotional bullying, cyberbullying, sexting or circulating suggestive or nude photos or texts about a person and more. Bullying is such a serious phenomenon that it spreads throughout the web. At least half of suicides among young people are related to bullying. It is a big problem that needs to be taken seriously due to past violence as a result of bullying. Someone can bully anyone for any type of reason, jealousy, malice, race, color, you name it, but “is it honestly a reason?” , take it to the extreme to make someone feel so down and embarrassed?" Some people don't realize how much damage they can cause to a person. Victims have their own personal lives outside of bullying, the bully knows exactly what the victims are going through. The victim can have a difficult life without anyone knowing and being bullied only makes the situation worse every time she is attacked by the 11 year old girl I know personally, she was being victimized by bullied at school every single day, she is only 11. So young, little, that she still doesn't know what life is. Every day a group of girls will push her, insult her and look at her badly in school and outside of school. Yes she felt alone, ugly and useless. She didn't know what to do, she didn't want to...... middle of paper....... The little girl began to cry more, feeling so down and so ugly. Her mother ended up leaving with the daughter. The little girl begged her mother to change school, she no longer wanted to go to that school. Her mother told her, “No, you have to stand up for yourself and not let anyone bring you down, you are too smart and beautiful to feel that way.” The girl walked away. The next day at school he followed his mother's advice and ignored the girls. Eventually the girls ended up leaving her alone. The little girl was so happy. She was back to normal. Not all bullies stop and leave their victims alone. Works Cited Art of Hope. "Information and statistics on bullying". Bullying statistics provided by Ark of Hope for Children.
