These kids suffer from one of these issues: anxiety, abandonment issues, anger, self-esteem, self-isolation, poverty and stress. A child growing up without a father or father figure can cause several problems for the child throughout his or her life. As children they may act strangely in class and show signs of anger. As they grow and understand the situation more, the child may develop anger issues and show signs of abandonment in their relationships. In adulthood the son may have difficulty marrying due to the fear of being like his father or of being abandoned by someone he should love forever once again. “The absence of the father is pathological and seriously affects the abandoned child's capacity for self-esteem and intimacy.”
