In basic terms ethics can be interpreted as the concern with how society is held together and how it provides the stability and security that are essential to life human (1.) In Deggans' article his ethics and morals are based on how stories are misrepresented. He also uses four key points that he describes in full: “We're not having the right conversations,” “Trying to talk about systemic racial issues during a crisis is always much more difficult,” “Cable news has accelerated the path from news reporting to experts with disastrous results,” and “Each cable news channel fine-tunes its coverage for its target audience, including how that target audience views racial issues” (2-6).
