If someone asked single parents what they want more than anything, the most implicit answer would be money. These parents would not say money openly. They would say something like having more time to spend with their children, having enough money to buy food for their children, or being able to give their children a better future. This would imply the need for more money. These single parents and even married parents living below the poverty line know how important money is in everyday life; more than people who might not realize it if they never lived below the poverty line. People can say “get a better education” or “get a better job”, none of those things are easy. To get a better job people need a better education, but a better education requires more money, but to get that money people need to have a well-paying job. A good college can cost anywhere from $100,000 to $200,000 and more, depending on your major. This endless cycle ensures that people never cross the poverty line. Money controls people, it brings with it good luck for people and their children. With more money comes more opportunities for people to give back to their communities. With more money people can afford to give back, to help others who need help. People can make donations of money or their own
