Macbeth by William Shakespeare is the play that tells the story of a soldier and the disastrous path he took in search of the throne. Macbeth was a victim of forces beyond his control; they are the witches and Lady Macbeth. The witches create a stimulus for Macbeth to become destructive in his quest for the throne. However Macbeth was only convinced and ready to kill after being influenced by Lady Macbeth. Therefore we can assume that it was Lady Macbeth who turned Macbeth into a megalomaniac. The witches were the force that initiated Macbeth's ability to kill Duncan for the throne, which led to the destruction that followed thereafter. When the witches welcome Macbeth, they call him by three names: "hail thee, lord of Cawdor," "hail thee, lord of Glamis," and ""thou shalt be king henceforth." By calling Macbeth these names, the witches aimed to ensure that Macbeth obtained these titles, especially the role of king, since he was not to receive it by chance "Malcolm, son of Duncan, king of Scotland", if it were not for the murders Macbeth would not have obtained the throne since Malcolm was the heir. By suggesting that Macbeth would become king, the witches are responsible for creating the possibility for Macbeth to choose to commit the disasters that followed. If Macbeth had not listened to the witches' prophecies it would be reasonable to assume that he would not kill for the throne, so he was the victim of a supernatural force. After the encounter with the witches Macbeth was a moral man and refused to submit himself to the “evil inclination”. may the light see my black and deep desires.” Macbeth had a dark desire to become king, but he knew what was good and evil at this point in the play and... middle of paper... to kill Duncan he turned Macbeth into a ruthless killer which is evident after the murders Macbeth's independents. Macbeth was subject to a supernatural force, the witches' control over Macbeth causes him to commit all the murders giving Macbeth a motive to gain and secure royal status. The witches' incentive was mocked by a moral Macbeth at the beginning of the play. when faced with Lady Macbeth's conviction to kill Duncan in pursuit of the throne, he follows her plans. After Duncan's murder, Macbeth needs no further persuasion from Lady Macbeth to commit the subsequent murders of Banquo and Macduff's family as she managed to convince him to commit murderous actions despite Macbeth's moral nature Therefore we can assume that Lady Macbeth is responsible for changing Macbeth's moral mind to that of murderers, what which led to a disastrous result..
