Use very strong adjectives, to give the man a darker appearance. Soon, the boy, after exchanging chat with the mysterious man dressed in black, decides to run towards the crevice in the river from which his father had advised him to stay away. Soon he was running, and running until he found out that his mother had died. Soon scared he runs even more to find his father and quickly runs to him. With this, Stephen King, with his main theme being fear, finds a way to add other themes to the overall theme of fear and survival. Making up lies was what the boy did when he met his father. With that, the boy wonders if he was lucky to escape the man in black. This gives the story a mystery type theme, which questions some readers. In the story The Man in the Black Suit, a boy encounters two things which can be symbolized by death as both were out to join the boy. In the end, the bee was exterminated but the mysterious man, who lost the boy, haunted him until he became old. Stephen King uses many types of elements that show symbolism within the story. Ultimately, the story gives readers something to think about after reading it
