The earth is about four billion years old, within these four billion years; the earth has become accustomed to various dissimilar geological and environmental transitions and permutations. The Ice Age period has been the subject of much debate regarding these various transitions. As the rate at which geological disasters on earth continue to intensify, we begin to wonder whether it is possible for an ice age to occur spontaneously overnight. However, for such a disaster to persist, massive and improbable geological events would have to occur coherently, which is evidently and scientifically impossible. The idea that an ice age could occur overnight is implausible because: global warming is clearly increasing, the chances of catastrophic volcanic activity are deteriorating, and Earth's orbit is in a period of absorption of solar radiation. First, there are abundant requirements that must be met before an ice age can occur. The most integral elements of these needs are: the decrease in Earth's temperature levels and the formation of gigantic glaciers; where the formation of gigantic glaciers depends on temperature levels. Furthermore, glaciers and giant ice sheets cannot develop if global temperatures continue to rise. In fact, recent studies have shown that average global temperatures have increased over the last century: “The coldest conditions in the last 560 years occurred between 1570 and 1730 AD and in the nineteenth century. Since the 1920s, unusually warm conditions have prevailed, probably related to a relative absence of large explosive volcanic eruptions and higher levels of greenhouse gases" (Bradley & Jonest, 1993, p.1). Since the earth's temperature. .. . half of the paper ......in line with the previously assumed events in the space of one night, which astronomically is real. According to the principles of Milankovitch cycles, it takes about 100,000 for the orbit to move from the bottom to top.To conclude, for a sudden ice age to persist overnight, the decrease in global temperature, massive volcanic activities, and astronomical errors must all occur consistently within a few hours for these events to occur consistently is nearly impossible simply because they contradict each other and require distinct duration periods to occur effectively. Therefore, the idea that an ice age can occur overnight is implausible for the reason that: global warming is clearly increasing, the possibilities of catastrophic volcanic activity have deteriorated, and Earth's orbit is in a period of absorbing solar radiation.
