It seemed that once he learned this lesson in the workplace, he had another direction he wanted to take my work. I was given the wonderful opportunity to take a year off from work with full severance pay. This gave me the chance to move in a different direction with my career. During this period of unemployment my husband and I went to Idaho and served in the Mission Aviation Fellowship offices for a week. This was my first experience in a Christian work environment. God has put it on my heart to work in a Christ-centered environment. I believe he orchestrated my employment at William Jessup University. Throughout my work history God has refined the strength of my discipline, revealed the strength of the developer, and given me empathy for the people I work with. Connection is woven into all of this; I believe with all my heart that my work history has God's hand everywhere, teaching me lessons and making me a better person. In my personal relationships I see harmony, empathy and connection. The harmony characteristic of a peacemaker has been present for much of my life. It all started when I was young and my family was full of conflict. As I grew up, I continued to crave harmony in my friendships and relationships. Sometimes, I would stifle my feelings and get along with the other person to avoid conflict. In the end
