While the child ate, he held the spoon and picked up the food to feed himself, showing off one of his many motor skills. He did a classic nose pinch that was a use of his fine motor skills. He held the blocks and an iPad during the game. After eating he washed his hands, another example of fine motor skills. Furthermore, at one point the child picked up a hammer which once again showed off his motor skills. According to Children's, all of these skills are important stepping stones in a child's development. I didn't see the baby do any palmer holds, which is a good sign. Just as with gross motor skills, I think this child excels in fine motor skills and I would give no other advice than to make sure he is practicing these vital fine motor skills
