Having bills and a social life can sometimes conflict with each other and it seems like it's not possible to have both at the same time, especially in the beginning. To keep up with bills like rent, insurance, groceries, etc. you have to have a job. Holding down a job isn't very difficult, but it does require you to be on time for your shift. Time management takes on an important role in accountability because time is precious and unfortunately we don't have all the time in the world to get things done. It is very familiar to know the “adults” who still live at home. To be considered an adult I believe you should be the one to support yourself with a job and with the money you earn. Without managing time and money there are chances of minor or major falls. Bills might not get paid, or something might happen with the employer and things might seem like nothing is working; but being an adult means you are responsible for putting all the pieces back into place
