Apple Inc. is an American multinational company; deals with the design, production and sale of personal computers, electronic devices and software and offers related services. The company has seen tremendous expansion since 2001, when it introduced the iPod mp3 player. Apple Inc. is considered the most prosperous electronics company in the world. However, like any company, Apple is influenced by several factors in the overall environment in which the company operates. Impact of Economic Conditions The company's functions and performance are highly dependent on global economic conditions. The unlikelihood of current global economic conditions poses a risk as customers and businesses may continually postpone spending due to tougher credit conditions, unemployment, harmful financial news and declines in income or asset prices, which would have a negative impact on the demand for the company's goods and services. Demand may also vary substantially from the company's expectations because the company substantially increases prices on products and services sold outside the United States to offset the impact of a spiraling U.S. dollar. Other factors that may persuade demand include escalating fuel and energy costs, the state of real estate and financial markets, labor and healthcare costs, credit availability, customer confidence, including other macroeconomic aspects . These, including other economic aspects, may have a material adverse impact on Apple's goods and services, financial position, and operating results of the company (Apple Inc., 2013). If there is renewed monetary turmoil challenging the banking system and money markets, a further meltdown of the money services sector, a considerable failure of money services businesses, there may be a between... half of the paper... will have a negative impact. Opportunities for the company The high demand for iPad mini and iPhone 5 will increase sales and expand the market share of Apple tablets. The introduction of iTV will maintain Apple TV sales and product ecosystem. Samsung is the primary and sole supplier of application processors for Apple products. New manufacturers with better engineering capabilities are emerging, and in no time Apple will begin to depend less directly on its direct adversaries. Furthermore, the growing demand for tablets and smartphones presents a lucrative opportunity to expand Apple's market share. Apple's patents are often infringed by its adversaries; the collection of compensation from the guilty represents a valid opportunity to expand liquidity reserves. Additionally, the company can scale up its iCloud services and applications as the requirements for cloud-oriented services increase (Apple Inc., 2013).
