It is an organization that works to protect human rights internationally, regardless of the race, gender, or social or economic status of the individual in need of protection. If we want humans as a species to survive and thrive globally, we must foster a world that protects and nurtures individual rights. Amnesty International is already working to achieve this goal. One of the challenges facing Amnesty International is the plethora of human rights violations that need to be addressed. They are a single organization, albeit a powerful one, but they cannot solve all the world's problems. They will have to prioritize which issues are essential and which cases they should deal with. (“Many Rights, Some Wrong”, 2007). Amnesty International cannot fight all the world's battles alone. There are too many people who need assistance and too many causes that need support. They will have to decide which battles to fight and which can wait for another day or another
