Confucius has influenced my view of social justice because I believe that if people practice their virtues, then the world will coexist in harmony. Humanity will take into account the well-being of others, unite countries and eliminate evil. Society must recognize people's virtues instead of penalizing humanity for its flaws. Confucius emphasizes the virtues of humanity, believing that they possess the characteristics to live in a society free of harm or judgment. Human nature consists of instinctive survival virtues, but Confucius also believes that they are not all bad, but only poorly dominated by figures of political authority. The Chinese philosopher aspired for his teachings to liberate his country, while society limits the natural state. The individual rebels against laws that interfere with happiness, so humans are less likely to experience happiness, and if they dare to challenge politicians, they are punished.
