Love Has No Gender Everyone wants happiness and to be loved by someone unconditionally. It doesn't matter the gender or race of the person, everyone just wants to be loved. Many people are against men dating men or women dating women. There are people who say religion is the reason they are against it. These people firmly believe that gay marriage is the greatest sin in the world. There are many sins in this world, but the one sin people seem to focus on is gay marriage. In the Bible it is stated that no sin is greater than another. Some people would say that it is completely wrong to go against your religion and rebel against God. There are others who say that it doesn't matter who you are with, as long as they are happy; love has no gender. Just because two people dating are both men or both women doesn't mean they can't love each other. Gay marriage is now legal in seventeen states, while the other thirty-three states still ban gay marriage entirely. Same-sex couples must have the right to celebrate their happiness publicly just like other couples. Same-sex couples are denied the right to legally marry as if their freedom of speech has been taken away, but in reality they are just expressing their love. . Legalizing gay marriage will not harm society. If same-sex marriage were legal everywhere in the United States, society would continue to function normally and no family values ​​would be lost. If gay marriage is legal in seventeen states, why must the other thirty-three states continue to ban same-sex marriage? How can we all be equal if we are denied certain rights because of who we love?
