Topic > Why the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer

Robert Reich's report: “Why the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer” is an eye-opener and a warning to society about unemployment that will increase is facing and is currently facing due to lack of technology and education. It is clearly articulated that the jobs of routine producers and in-person waiters have disappeared completely as modern techniques have replaced them. The author stated that the only people whose work is increasing are symbol analysts. As stated in the report, symbol analysts are the real problem solvers. Their skills are in great demand all over the world because they are the ones who first analyze the problem and then solve it. The Hart Report, on the other hand, also highlights the same problem of unemployment and global recession that has led employers to focus on employees not only with specialized skills but also with a “broader range of skills and knowledge” ( page 6-7). . The Hart Report clearly reflects what the needs of contemporary employers are, but the question is whether it is universities or students themselves who are failing to cope with the needs of the contemporary world, full of technological progress and critical thinking. The Texas Work Source has also played an important role in examining what is actually missing in today's generation and the reasons behind such a large drop in employment. The central Shafiq 2 issue discussed by all three reports is the employment crisis that millennials will face due to educational problems, both in schools and among students, and at the same time the growing demand for symbol analysts. All three reports are a revelation for millennials, as they have clearly demonstrated all the problems… middle of paper… they cannot turn students into symbol analysts, but they can at least take several measures through which they can instill the qualities of symbol analysts in their students and make them deal with the problems they will face in the near future.
