The sessions were also great learning to facilitate class discussion. Even if acting out scenarios with my neighbors is effective, I may still be practicing something wrong. Or, during a lecture, my mind may wander due to misunderstandings or distractions. However, the videos allowed me to analyze them to see some skills in practice, to determine what's wrong, and most importantly, to see how therapy sessions change over time. The series shows concepts that could not have been expressed as well as in the film, in the classroom through the use of notes. Furthermore, based on what I have learned in my psychology course and in effective terms, the stimulation of images and noises on a television is better than using a power outlet during a lesson. At the beginning of the sessions Sophie was really bratty, childish, out of control and an emotional wreck. It was only in the second session that he really began to tell the story, his story. She arrived emotionally blocked, refusing to accept reality, face her problems, and acknowledge what she had done to herself and others. Even in the second session there are trust issues between Paul and Sophie because when she comes to the session she says she had an argument with her mother, but in reality it was with her father. At first there was little trust between the two and the sessions felt awkward, most ending with Sophie threatening to leave or even ending the session early. As the third session begins, most of his story begins to unravel. There's a sense of trust between the two as Sophie tells Paul about her relationship with Si. Eventually, she starts to admit that her life isn't perfect, that things are messed up and she finds herself trapped in the chaos. Paul also feels comfortable... middle of paper......t, with respect to the path of his actions, which from a psychodynamic point of view was mainly due to his early relationship with his father. They started with the vague appearance that she had been in an accident, and as they worked through the story, they found out that she was also having an affair with Si, her coach, until all those boundaries were crossed because she never had boundaries. As a child, her father had overstepped her boundaries and she was confused about parental roles and its overall effect on other people's lives. Finally, even if they did not come out and talk about goals directly in the sessions, it is assumed that there could have been goals as well. Sophie was working on her relationship with her mother, was starting to set boundaries, and was working on accepting reality. All of these are examples of concepts learned in class and demonstrated throughout the series.
