Sometimes committing a sin can be described as the most tempting moment in a person's life. Every human being on this earth goes through the same entire process, within themselves, pondering whether or not to continue with their choice of wrong actions. It may seem that there are times when we as human beings naturally and instinctively avoid the possible major negative outcomes and only glorify the much smaller positive outcomes to ourselves. Although, eventually, once the fall and the consequences begin, the people who committed the sin begin to claim that there was no awareness that their personal fall due to their choices, in humanity would be hard. In reality, all the consequences were clearly known and recognized by every single human being the very first moment the sin was conjured up in his mind from the very beginning. There are many cases around the world where situations like this occur all the time and are also shown through various types of writings, trying to show the consequences of sin and the fall that comes with it. During the course of my research article, a discussion will be created between the two texts, "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and "Paradise Lost" on the argumentative theme of sin. A point will be raised that will explain how, regardless of the amount of repentance given towards one's sins, the scars and burns of sins will remain on the individual's soul forever. Sin is a very controversial thing in this day and age, but it has always been a very controversial topic since the beginning of time. Especially when original sin was first discovered in the time of Adam and Eve, who happen to be the main pro... middle of paper... sin. The only thing that could ruin their life and reputation under God would only be if they disobeyed one of God's orders and rules, which they could not do in their entire lives. They were aware of the serious consequences that would result if they disobeyed anything. As of now, the original had not yet been created in the paradise where Adam and Eve lived. One of the main commands that God gave to Adam and Eve was that they should not dare eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. Adam and Eve had been given free will, free to wander around to do whatever they wanted, except eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, which was their only rule. Finally, down in Hell, Satan saw what was happening on the earth his enemy created. He decided to come down to earth and cause chaos among the newly created "perfect humans".’.
