The 20th century was characterized by unprecedented development and changes in the way technology was used. The beginning of the 20th century undoubtedly marks the beginning of how technological development impacts the lives of people, businesses, and government operations (Sundar & Nass 683). Traditional forms of communication are continually transformed into digital connections. For example, print media is steadily losing its value in a highly virtual environment and is being replaced by digital media forms such as blogs. Cellular technology has changed the way humans communicate and interact with others in society in a positive way as it has allowed us to have some means of social connection, increase productivity and also create equality and distribution of wealth. It is the most reliable and easily accessible technology in the world. Furthermore, in some countries, mobile phones are widely used in the business sector for financial transactions; therefore making its way as one of the most valued parts of the social landscape (Ling 21). Kraut et al (3), argue that mobile phones are rapidly infiltrating homes and individual lives and affecting people's relationships and personal and economic well-being. being. However, the bigger concern, as technology continues to infiltrate, is the consequences it brings in terms of social development. As Bailenson and Yee argue, cellular technology is a powerful system that transforms how individuals interact in a social environment (815). As Kraut et al. argue, the development of technology, especially mobile phones, in the postindustrial era is like a race between two people (3). At one level of the game there is a society equipped with new knowledge and in the center of the card the elephants influence our lives. While social networks, task coordination, and business transactions are common themes when it comes to technology, there are other areas that can still be reinterpreted. For example, researchers need to focus on when, where, and how individuals use technology, as well as their reasons for adopting it. This is because technologies are constantly evolving and what exists today may not be available tomorrow. For example, the mobile phone was initially adopted as a means of voice communication; today most people use it for texting and entertainment purposes. To the extent that we can conceptualize mobile phones as an innovation, they also offer the opportunity to review its acceptance in society. However, before this happens, mobile technology continues to influence the way we interact and communicate with others.
