Even with the smaller amount of driving that older adults do, there are more accidents in those fewer miles than there would be if a teenager drove the same amount of miles. Today there are 34 million drivers who are 65 years old or older. It is predicted that by 2030 there will be 57 million drivers in this age group. (Fox, paragraph 11)One of the serious health problems that occur as people age is their ability to see. The eye is a very complex, but at the same time sensitive, part of the body.
