Companies operating in a certain region must also behave accordingly. Otherwise they will have to suffer. In short, culture has a great impact on the individual, society and companies.2. Cultural TheoriesCompanies can gain competitive advantage through effective use of cross-cultural dimensions. Creative thinking and positive management of this factor can be of great help in successfully achieving and completing goals. For the recurring meeting of cultural differences, various theories have been identified. Hofstede's theory and Trompenaar's (1993) are the models for intercultural management. • Hofstede's Theory According to Hofstede's study, national culture can be dimensionalized as follows:1. The management problems of any company arise when they do not follow the culture of each country, separately. The difference between culture can become a detriment or can lead to the success of the company, depending on how the company uses this factor. Vodafone has its own strategies to address its market. They focus on and give due importance to cultural difference.
