Buddhas are considered to manifest by Chan Samadhi. Those who do not have the ability of Chan Samadhi cannot become enlightened or achieve Buddhahood. Since beings can be born in ignorance, and life remains meaningless if we were to die in confusion, humanity needs to discover how it comes to this world and how it will die. Can we be free regardless of when we die? Chan meditation tells us this to clear up confusion. The goal of this practice is to gain freedom over birth and death, which is considered true freedom: the ability to come and go whenever we want, without afflictions or worries. Going to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss by simply assuming the full lotus position and saying goodbye to everyone should be possible for us to leave. This would be true freedom over birth and death. To gain that freedom, a practitioner must overcome the fear of death, not be afraid of pain, hardship, suffering, or anything else. After Shakyamuni achieved enlightenment under the bodhi tree, he stated: "Truly strange, truly strange, all living beings on earth have the Buddha nature, only because wandering thoughts and attachments arise, they are unable to accomplish the Way ” Can a practitioner reach the “paramita shore” by cultivating the “three ways of stopping emotional non-flows” which consist of maintaining the precepts, investigating samadhi and opening wisdom, and thus putting an end to the birth of desire, of form and formlessness, leaving suffering and achieving bliss. Chan Meditation tells us that the Patriacchi, Bodhisattvas and Buddhas over the centuries have succeeded thanks to this method. Chan Meditation discipline is the central part of paper, the full existence, be from within the wonderful existence, the true emptiness arises This is the state of wonder, the state of the inconceivable, this is the state of the unspeakable , culture, religion and sect of the Chan school – be it the Linzi, Caodong, Yunmen, Fayan or Weiyang sects – nor does it encompass the whole substance. For example, if the entire body of the elephant represents the vast functioning of the substance, then the Chan practitioner is like the entire elephant, not just a part of its body. Master Chan does everything very naturally, without showing off. Those who still each do not understand the need to “Investigate”, ask themselves “Who am I? "Who? Who? ……………until the barrel of doubts is shattered. As those who drink water will feel the heat or the cold.
