Alexandra was a 5 foot 6 inch girl who weighed about 128 pounds. All his life he wanted to be something. She wanted people to stop what they were doing and turn towards her while she danced. He wanted people to know his name for his extraordinary lines and his splendid jumps. She wanted to be the one that all the little dancers admired for how they acted with Misty Copeland or Anna Pavlova. Ever since Alexandra was little, she dreamed of being able to jump as high as the clouds. But at that time, Alexandra was only 14 years old and devoted her teenage life to the lifestyle of a prima ballerina. He spent all week in his studio taking lessons from mid-afternoon to late at night. For her it was worth it. She hoped to attend Juilliard's summer program once she graduated from high school. "Alexandra, are you ready?" his sister Dani asked. “I'll be in the car in about 5 minutes.” replied Alessandra. As Dani walked her and her sister to the studio, she asked Alexandra “So what do you think we should do this summer. Mom was talking about going to North Carolina for a couple of days and then maybe doing something fun here. “Well, I was thinking I was going to New York.” Alessandra said. “We go to New York all the time. Why do we have to go back there, Alexandra?” Alexandra took a breath and then spoke, “Well, I think since I'm turning 15 in a month, I might go for a few days and stay with Aunt Cheryl. Then during the day I might go to Broadway Dance Center and take some ballet lessons. I think getting some outside training in addition to studying is the best thing for me if I want to pursue my life as a dancer.” “Mom will never let you go to New York alone, Alexandra, even if you're with Aunt Cheryl. It will be in... middle of the paper... in mind!" - shouted Addison. Alexandra usually managed to do about 7 turns, but the intimidation of all these dancers made about 10. At the end of the week, Alexandra came up to Addison and thanked her. “I really appreciate these lessons this week. I'm from Baton Rouge and we don't have things like that there, so coming here was a really great opportunity.” good. But I feel like you started holding back towards the end of the week. “Yes, I think so. I think I was just intimidated by all the prima ballerinas in the room. I always wanted to be a professional dancer.” Addison said: “I commend you for your great goals, Alexandra.”
