Teaching over the centuries has led teachers to face many different challenges. Adding different cultures to this school environment can sometimes make things more difficult and increase the challenge of being a teacher. In today's society, teachers must educate students who come from different cultures, speak different languages and have a mix of abilities. There are many different aspects to think about when considering diversity in the classroom. In this essay I will demonstrate the complexities of classroom management across different cultures in Australia. I will first explore classroom behavior and the challenges that both students and teachers face, then I will move on to student attendance at school and the lack of resources that some students may have for personal reasons, and how this affects on teachers' ability to manage and teach the class and on students' learning ability. Finally I will focus on the ability to manage a class that has a mix of students of different levels when it comes to learning and how this affects not only the way the teacher teaches the class, but the effect it has on everyone in environment class. To help me with this, I will take Churchill (2013) Teachers Making a Different as my main reference. It is the teacher's responsibility to ensure that student behavior in the classroom is appropriate and well managed, but doing so can be a problem. difficult task. There is often a gap in the classroom between those who want to learn and those who don't seem too concerned about their education and, as Churchill (2013) states "They don't particularly want to be them", this can have an effect on everyone (p. 56). Students who lack respect for the teacher... middle of the paper... should try to encourage and strengthen parental involvement in their children's school experience, as the student is more likely to want to come to school and participate in work if they have the encouragement of their family members. Every single student has the ability to learn and reach their full potential if they have the right role models there to help them. All these aspects explain how it can be very challenging for a teacher to try to manage a class where each student has different learning abilities. There are many complexities that teachers will face as they continue their journey as teachers, this is just one major difficulty in relation to classroom management. For a teacher to be able to handle this situation, they must be extremely determined and willing to do anything to help their students succeed and reach their full potential..
