Once in a blue moon, there is someone who knows everything, someone who knows you and accepts you unconditionally, someone who is there for life. This description of a “golden friend” by Jill McCorkle describes Julia perfectly. Most of my friendships don't last more than a year or two, but after almost five years I'm still great friends with Julia. Even though we are no longer part of the youth group, we still volunteer together at church and go out occasionally. Julia is a true friend who is there for me through thick and thin. I'm happy that we became friends, because in a way it helped me grow as a friend
