Walt Disney is a global entertainment company. Walt Disney Co is currently number one in the entertainment industry, beating competitors such as News Corp, Time Warner and CBS with revenues of $42.278 billion per year and net profit of $5.682 billion. The company is ranked 66th on the Fortune 500 list and 17th on the list of the world's most valuable brands. Walt Disney's headquarters is located in Burbank, California, and has been publicly traded as NYSE:DIS since 1991. Walt Disney got his start in 1923 with a short film called Alice's Wonderland. It was owned by Walt Disney and his brother Roy Disney. Disney advanced into the future with very popular entertainment films such as Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi and many others until Walt Disney's death in 1966.
