The text closes with a depiction of Satan and his devils hitting the dance floor with the pleasure of capturing an alternate soul and perhaps the possibility of taking others. The ultimate human normality for the chimes conveys how tragic the sonnet is in general. This last phase of the text, being even sadder, is forced to emphasize the terrible things that happened to him
