Although it is a difficult transition for the family, having time and having family and friends by your side when you need to talk is the best gift a person can have for for begin healing. During the interview with Carmen and Elsa, even though they suffered physical and verbal abuse, they decided to leave that relationship and move on with their lives. I can identify with these two women, in how we were inspired to not settle for less and to live life to the fullest and to spread our wings and be everything we want to be because we can. The most difficult part of the interview was trying to go into detail about Carmen and Elsa's story. I think it's never easy to talk about a life event and sometimes it can even bring tears to your eyes when you remember it. I realized that everyone who has gone through a divorce feels disappointment, pain in their heart. A divorce not only affects you as a person, but it also affects your children and family. When time passes and you are healed from the divorce you experienced, you smile at life because it teaches you to be stronger and a fighter, you value yourself as a woman and you know what you will no longer tolerate and what you are
