There was no way we would ever pay $1200 for this place - the amount makes no sense. I made this very clear to you when you offered it to us. You accepted the $1,000 because you wanted us here. I remember you actually telling us we "had to move" here and then changing your approach when you realized we weren't interested. The understanding we had was that I would be responsible for the snowfall. That I took care of this place and had always done so was something you expected. The fact of unwinding under the house does not qualify as either a minor or a condition of our agreement. The price I quoted is extremely reasonable in itself and even more so in light of the money you saved by not hiring a plumber on the weekend. Helping us get through the recession is very welcome and thoughtful. I in turn performed many valuable services. It is, however, very sad that I am forced to mention them: repair the snow blower ($500), repair Joanne's kitchen and bathroom sink, clean and wash the apartment, secure a tenant...
