Hamlet is a man of words, not of actions. His delay in reacting after discovering that Claudious is behind his father's murder was tempered by his desire to validate the Old Hamlets ghost's information to see if what he had told him was indeed the truth: "I will play these players something like the murder of my father before my uncle...
