Life on Planet FujiMy name is Christi. I was born on February 17, 1999. And I know that I was separated from my immediate family and selected to start a new company on planet Fuji. I, along with four other children, were chosen to transform our new society into something livable. Our goal is a peaceful and cohesive environment. I realize that the opportunity I have to continue humanity is greater than grieving any losses; however, I will never forget the life I left behind. I have already shed many emotional tears over the loss of my mother, father and brothers. The memories I have will undoubtedly guide me into the future. My directive, along with four others, is to develop a social system and incorporate all settlers into this new society. I met the other individuals as we were chosen to awaken first to plan and present our ideas to the colonists. We estimate several days to prepare a presentation and conduct a “town hall” type meeting. Our most critical task is to convince everyone that democracy is the best option available to us to survive. We must all feel involved in what is happening, otherwise we run the risk of a revolt. We have history that tells us where to go and what is right. We have been told, through the infusion of memory, everything that happened in past societies and we know what we must do to achieve an ideal society. Government The five of us have already gathered to discuss our company and where to start first. Our intent is to start hierarchically with government, the governing body of our society. Do we define roles and tasks and conduct elections to fill these positions? Or do we fill them ourselves? We chose to take the first path and conduct elections to appoint a minimum governing body. To paint a picture of ideal candidates, we have chosen examples from the history of successful leaders and will compare them with less successful ones. Here we hope to define the characteristics involved in developing a leader for our society. The presentation will be in slide format and will be viewed by all colonists. In addition to this leader or head of government, a legislative body will be needed to implement all bills voted into law. This legislative body will be responsible for policing those individuals who choose to violate the law and create conflicts. All criminals will be immediately tried by the judicial body of the government... middle of paper... composed of friends where "Family" will revolve around social gatherings. The real family won't exist for some time...until people get married and start having children. Family is the basis for shaping people into what they will become in society. Our outreach program will conduct monthly meetings on family issues for those couples planning to get married and start a family. In conclusion, our goal is a peaceful and prosperous society. Competition is necessary to foster prosperity. As individuals learn their trade or trade, their demands must be recognized so that all of society can benefit. The banking sector, for example, will end up being made up of several financial institutions competing for market share. This same competition will exist in all aspects of commerce. For a peaceful society to exist we must enforce our laws and agree to respect them. We must not forget where we came from. We must remember that this is not a unique experience, in fact in some ways it is similar to how society has evolved in the United States. There?
